If You Fall, You Will Fly.

You fell so hard...You feel like you're kicked while you're already down. There's really not a whole lot more you can take. There's strength in there, someplace inside, but it feels so overridden with burdens that you think maybe it just disappeared. You work so hard and for what? You think you're finally going to get a little bit ahead and bam - You're right back where you started. Breaks are there to be caught but where is yours? They always feel like they're just out of your reach.

You can reach them. Stand just a little bit taller. They're glistening. Can you see that?

Grab them...right there. Now, open your hands. Here they are.

Days feel like monotonous routines and you're a robot, navigating your way through each one. You make little changes here and there but it always ends up exactly the same. You try your hardest to make everyone around you happy...your friends, your family, anyone you care deeply for. You feel like it's a mission finally accomplished at times but someone, somewhere, always reminds you that it's just never enough. You're never enough.

Well, you are enough. Did you think that maybe it's not you? It's not. It's them. You have ideas and dreams that you wish to accomplish. You've that them on your mind for a really, really long time. You take steps to obtain them but you feel like there's always a reason, a "but" and a "what if" as a reminder of why it can't work.

"Can't" is a horrible word. It can work and it will if the wrong things are avoided and the right things are kept as a focus.

Focus is drive. Drive is the force that gets you wherever it is that you really want to be.

Step on the gas.

You feel like so many promising roads lead to dead ends. You had cruise control set and you had to put on the brakes because there's always something in the way. Why? Not every road leads to nowhere. So many lead to magnificent places and the people that belong with them. Nothing needs to be in the way because there's a saying that everything is figureoutable.

Back up and turn around. You're the driver. It's never too late for promising roads leading to everywhere and everyone you ever wanted to experience. You have so much of yourself to give and so much to offer but it feels like it's never recognized or appreciated. You're a damned good hearted, considerate amazing person so you really just don't get it. What in the actual hell is the problem? You're not conceited, it's just the truth. You beat yourself up with way too many whys, you're always stressed out, you don't even sleep right, and you find yourself trying harder and harder. For what? For who? Unappreciative is a personality type. It doesn't change and it won't, no matter what you do. Stop trying for all the wrong people.

When you recognize who the right ones are, you'll feel rewarded and you will feel worthy.

Your self-esteem will thank you for it in the long run. Your health will too.

You feel like life has dealt you the shittiest hand of cards. Finances, relationships, work, depression, anxiety, not feeling well...overall bad luck feels like it follows you wherever you go. It's an ironic black cloud on the sunniest, most cloudless day so what gives.

Really. What. Gives.

Where are the aces? Can you have just one? Of course you can. They're stuck in between the twos and threes, or hidden behind the queens and kings. Reshuffle the deck because you're the dealer of your own hand now.

You really, really want to take that leap of faith and jump to higher ground so you can look down at all of the times you feel like you failed, got tripped, got lost, hit a wall, felt helpless, and had nowhere to turn or go. You want to have a bird's eye view of it all...see that you're above every bit of that now, because for each negative experience came a lesson that made you stronger and smarter.

It gave you wings and now my friend, my dear, my love...use them.

You can fly.
